GA DECA Chapter Spotlight

Bibb County DECA

On September 10th, Howard High School DECA helped to host the 2nd Annual Bibb County CTSO Leadership Rally. Over 150 members and advisors from seven different CTSO's throughout the county participated in leadership oriented workshops. The workshops were based upon building skills in areas such as Public Speaking, Business Etiquette, Community Service, Knowing Your Role as an Officer, and Increasing Membership. The Theme for the event was "CTSO's are R.E.A.L. (Recruiting Energetic Active Leaders)." We were lucky enough to have community presenters including Georgia Teacher of the Year, Jadun McCarthy, and Lee County DECA Advisor, Walter Burgess.
