GA DECA Chapter Spotlight

Lassiter DECA raises $3,500 for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Lassiter DECA club held its 4th annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. This month long community service project set two goals: to involve an increased number of Lassiter community members and to raise at least $3,500.  The LHS DECA club was able to raise the $3,500 - $2,600 of which was raised from the Pink Out alone.
Additional fundraising activities included a Spirit Night with LHS Partner in Education, Sandy Plains Yogli Mogli and a class contest.  All money will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of a 1993 Lassiter Graduate, Pam Hutchinson Butler.
