GA DECA Chapter Spotlight
Bibb County Members Induction Ceremony
On October 22, 2009, Bibb County celebrated their DECA members by having a countywide Officer and Members Induction Ceremony at Central High School in Macon, Georgia. Central, Howard, Northeast, Rutland and Westside High Schools participated in this inaugural event with over 200 advisors, members, administration, parents and local committee members in attendance. The ceremony started at 6 p.m. and included a proclamation from Macon’s Mayor Robert Reichert proclaiming October 22nd as DECA Day in Bibb County. There was a reception after the ceremony where both the newly inducted DECA members and DECA officers from each school were presented with certificates.
